Lagos State Deputy Speaker, actors,
Ini Edo and Odulade Adekola were among the over 6,000 people that thronged Eko
Hotel last Sunday for the Globacom packaged comedy cum entertainment fiesta
tagged ‘Glo Laffta Fest’.
Basketmouth, AY Bovi,Okey Bakassi, I
go dye, Seyi Law, Funny Bone and Gordons and Salvador from Uganda were all out
to thrill the fun-seeking audience who nearly laughed their hearts out from their dose of hilarious jokes.
But the night was not all about
jokes, there was scintillating music too and Glo ambassadors Wizkid and Burna
Boy strummed the minds of many with their top of the draw performances and
songs. Basketmouth who co-emceed the event was at his best and sustained the
tempo, with his trademark hilarious jokes.
Comedians AY, Funny Bone,
Seyi Law and Salvador were in their best as they held
the audience spell-bound, provoking spontaneous laughter throughout their time
on stage.
Some of those who graced the event
were Nollywood stars and Glo Ambassadors, including Helen Paul, Dija, Rickardo
Banks,and Deputy Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Wasiu
Eshinlokun Samuel and Commissioner of Police in charge of Police
Cooperative, Dorothy Gimba among others.
