The Oba of Benin, or Omo N’Oba, is the Oba (king) of the Edo people and the Supreme Ruler Of The Benin Kingdom. The current Oba was formerly known as Prince Solomon Akenzua but is regarded as His Royal Majesty Omo n’Oba n’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Erediauwa I.
The Benin empire is one that spans decades and is occupied by the present day Edo people also known as Bini people. The Oba, usually decked in red and white attire commands untold influence and he never parades about without a cogent reason to be in public.

Oba Saheed Elegushi is the youngest monarch in Lagos State. The 39-year-old Lagos socialite was born to the family of late (Oba) Yekini Adeniyi Elegushi, Elegushi Royal Family of Ikateland in 1976.
Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi is married to Olori Sekinat Aramide Elegushi and they have three children.
The admirable Oba who has a preference for dark shades likes hanging out at the most elite parts of Lagos with top celebrities and movers and shakers in the Lagos metropolis.
